⁴⁶ This included all the cities with their villages between Ekron and the Mediterranean Sea and alongside Ashdod. ⁴⁷ Added to this were Ashdod and Gaza with their cities and villages as far as the River of Egypt and the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

⁴⁸ In the mountains they gave Judah 11 cities with their villages: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,
